Deadly Embraceby PrismComment by MaryO: Ambitious little spider. How does he eat something bigger than himself? Oh, wait, I have an idea ... I don't think I really want to follow it up.
Spider webs are bad enough; a jumping spider would totally freak me out! |

Deadly Embraceby PrismComment by trevytrev: Makes me wonder how this spider caught this fly, usually they need help from a web to slow down a speedy fly bu this looks like pounced on the fly from above, very interesting. Cool capture. |

Burrowing Owlby PrismComment by JuliBoc: Beautiful detail and mesmerizing eyes. I think I would like it better if it was cropped so the bird filled the frame. I find the stark white background distracting. |

American Robinby PrismComment by trevytrev: Nice composition, I will admit I don't know what I would do without my autofocus:) The sky looks a bit grainey to me though. |

Burrowing Owlby PrismComment by trevytrev: Cool pick of a great bird, love the big eyes! He did pose nice for you, I might crop a bit off the left side to center him a bit more but still nice pic. |

American Robinby PrismComment by tnun: Light and colour on robin are the feature. (Sympathize about old eyes and focusing, though I wonder if we have lost some acuity BECAUSE of having autofocus! I never had it before my digicam, and thought I wouldn't use it even then.... Now it is a drug). |

American Robinby PrismComment by Jedusi: Autofocus comes to us all in the end :- )
Then you have to get used to a whole new way of working - but when it works well it is excellent.
Sweet little chap with a wonderful colour, and a perfect pose. If only you could have scrambled up the tree next to him :- ) |
