This has great clarity. I love the "out of the darkness" feeling - like he was hiding and popped out to surprise you. Great detailing in his face. The eyes are so nice and clear even in shadow!!

Great detail. I would like to have seen it framed just a bit further down, or perhaps without so much headspace. Seems to have a cut off at the neck feeling which I think comes not so much from losing the neck as from giving so much space above the head. I think it works nicely if you just lose the 1" above the ostrich altogether and go with the longer aspect ratio. Unsolicited advice, so feel free to ignore. ;)
