Sand Between My Toesby ShannonLeeComment by 777STAN: I like this photo as is. Wonderful feeling! If you're interested in a slightly different perspective, then let me share a cropping technique I recently learned from another DPC Photographer.
If you crop about a half inch from the left just outside the inner & smaller footpath, just outside the beginnings of the foot path on the right, and crop so as to place the horizon line on the top third, then the shot will be even tighter with many lines leading to the subject as well as in & out of the photo.
You are obviously a quality photographer. I hope my thoughts may in some way add just a little "fine tuning." Thanks for the privilege. :) |

Sand Between My Toesby ShannonLeeComment by jpochard: I love the feel and the colors of this shot! I wish the horizon was straightened. Other than that, it is perfect! It just looks like a relaxing "wish you were here shot." |

Country Girlby ShannonLeeComment by dartompkins: This is a great shot. Would make a great stock shot. I would try taking this same shot with the yellow lines beginning in the lower right corner and placing the subject more on the upper rule of thirds area. This would show a bit more of the road ahead as well. It might be even stronger. Great the way it is though. |
