The composition and angle are ok, except for the tower in the background.. sometimes with busy backgrounds you have to either get closer with a wider lens, or farther away with a long one.. it all depends on the scene and how much time you have I guess. I probably would have shot it from the other side of the bowl with a longer lens, which by the looks of the lighting means you'd have to use flash (most skate/bmx photos are shot using flash, partly since the right angle is more important than the right light, and flashes are more portable than the sun)

I LOVE this shot and the processing you've chosen to use. I think what really makes this photo is the diagonal line of the swings and the direction of your glance. Perfect in the high contrast. Very effective, artistic and appealing.
