DSCN5711_new.jpgby NowaytotellComment by dobilvr77: Andrea, you need just a lil more light on the foreground to light their faces up more.. don't darken the background all the way.. just a lil burning tool to darken it a bit would work depending on the background. get these girls in an open field with lots of storm clouds over head.. that would be an amazing shot.
we definitly need to get together someday and have a photo day together, out shooting anything.. !! |

The pure innocence of a childby NowaytotellComment by dobilvr77: I know who's picture this is.. but I will vote fairly.. My feeling is the flower on bottom is distracting, her skin is too pink, and her right (my left) eye is not open.. would have been better as a candid shot honey.. reshoot.. you are a great photographer.. she's a beautiful kid.. i'll give you a 7 here. :) |

Lady in Redby NowaytotellComment by fotomann_forever: Originally posted by aKiwi: You have to use better lighting for images like this.
Don't use the on camera flash.
Experimenting with cheap Gloodlights from hardware stores can create astoundingly good pictures. Get the light to the side & soften it by shooting through some sort of difuser.
Beautiful model by the way. |
I agree. Also, I think a vertical crop would have helped. This crop looks snapshotish. And I love redheads :-) |
