I really enjoy your location, I love the feel of it. The light on the floor, for me is a distraction, you see that bright spot on the kickboard on the bottom of the wall, I think if the light on the floor and kickboard wasn't so overblown it would have scored much higher. There is also a bit on the top right corner that is a distraction.

I think the picture would have worked even better without the perfectly posed knife. The knife makes the picture a bit trite. Despair is conveyed aptly though the man's posture and the construction of the room (crumbling as it is). Just a thought! I definitely like the picture though - great setting.

bummer this got a dq .. its an excellent image and i love the blue sky fading down to that fantastic glow of the sun and the silhouettes .. the grain works so well for this, it makes it look a bit like a painting .. :)
