Quality Timeby esdarbyComment by LindaLee: This is cute, but the actual subjects take up such a small area of the image. I believe that a close crop of just their legs and part of the bench would have been equally effective at conveying the message, without the distraction of all the background elements. |

Quality Timeby esdarbyComment by twm122: I love that you can see the little shoes and the moms heels. Without even looking at the whole image, just seeing it from the top of the bench down to the ground I can see the relationship and imagine them just enjoying the sun. Nice work |

Quality Timeby esdarbyComment by punwit: I'm a neophyte to photography and offering critiques but I really like this shot. The colors and the focus seem good to me but it's the mood that I love. There's a feeling of friendship/love that is denoted by the long bench and the proximity of the sitters as well as a sense of mystery evoked by the point of view. It awakens a desire to know more. As a neophyte I expect I am more influenced by mood than technical accuracy but this is in my top three. |

Quality Timeby esdarbyComment by hopper: perhaps it wasn't possible, but a wider aperature would have given shallower depth of field and the background would have faded out a bit more brining more attention to the subject .... but even as is, it's very cute :) |
