Excellent. The red veins add so much intrest to an otherwise plain image. The dark shadows bring the red out even more.

There are just so many of these shots in this challenge; there's good stuff here - the detail and exposure of the main subject leaf is really well executed, and the sense of reflected light is strong. The de-sat of the background annoys me - just a personal thing, but it feels like being forced into the image, where it should draw me of its own merits.
