Wow - that's some title. It made me think of 1950's or 1960's advertising. I like the sepia tone as it fits your title. Nice composition as well. With a bit more "breathing room" on the left hand side of the mixer head, I would have scored it even higher. Looks a bit...squished to me, for lack of a better technical term. :) 8

Hilarious, we just used this very same beater at my parent's house to make a cake (especially if it's yellow). I like the composition to fit the tight crop. The noise is definitely there and I'm guessing you are going for an "old" feel. The subject isn't going to reach those emotional highs, but a good attempt. 7
