Farmstead in Winterby davidwComment by aliqui: I don't see any banding either. It's actually quite surprisingly smooth. I did notice that when I sit closer to my screen the vignette doesn't seem as overpowering as it does when I lean back in my chair. It's actually quite the optical illusion... |

Farmstead in Winterby davidwComment by Bear_Music: This is just beautiful. I am particularly fond of the vignette on this one, although I suspect others may not be. I wish the mottled artifacts weren't in the upper part of the sky, but they aren't extremely obvious and I can live with them. Bumping. |

week 48 Its Time to Fill the Feederby davidwComment by davidw: Originally posted by Melethia: This is amazing! Doesn't look the least bit topaz'd, either. You said you used exposure color stretch - which in my experience is REALLY out there. How do you keep it looking so normal? Beautiful shot, wonderful processing! |
Its just that the other layers sit over the top and overpower it so the effect isn't at all bad. It does contribute some pop to the color.
I like Topaz to enhance the photograph, not to become the art itself. |
