Week 22-Upstreamby davidwComment by kaiser_chief: Love the Colours. Thats always what grabs me with these pictures. The red of the rocks, the green strip at the water and the dark blue river......instantly gives interest.
I do though feel that I am seeing only part of the scene, as the left side does not have a natural border, and I am sure there is plenty of interest further that way...... |

Laser Webby davidwComment by davidw: Originally posted by NiallOTuama: I'm surprised you got such a symmetric pattern with a laser and string! It seemed too symmetric. I was thinking you had some machine moving the laser around.

Thanks! I thought it was pretty good. I did quite a few shots of the laser, it was hard to figure out what was working and what wasn't...I had to pick up the camera to view the screen and then figure out where to place it back down. I actually ran out of time on this or I would have shot a few more. The lower right corner of the pattern was cut off...I would have much preferred a more symmetrical crop that included all of the red light.
The blown out parts in the center are where the laser pointed directly into the lens... |
