I really like the contrast depicted in this shot, but I'm not sure that the B/W composition does it justice. The skateboard community is all about color and breaking the rules of the "norm". While this is an interesting shot in B/W, I don't feel that it really gives enough credence to the spectrum of humanity that it represents. Yes, it provides a great deal of variety in form and contrast, but I don't think it conveys the colorful life that it is attempting to depict.

Just my 2 cents... It's by no means a technically inferior shot, I just think that it could be enhanced both visually and metaphorically with more color.

Fun with fisheye. I like this kind of experimentation. The perspective shift with the boardwalk is wild. I imagine you just missed your feet!

Love this shot. Makes me think of the classic "Earthrise" Shot taken from behind the moon. Fisheye can do amazing things if done right.

Great image. I ditto Tranquil's comment about cropping it due to the vignetting and the fact that the horizon is smack dead center of the image. Remember the rules of thirds. Great colors!

Very cute! The DOF is just right with the focus on his muzzle. The water seems almost all too smooth and surreal. Great capture.

The lines in this are really interesting and good. The path takes you right to the focus on the spectacular waterfall. Very well composed shot. I'm not sure about the b/w here either, but it's quite good as is.

Great tones here - and I even like the fisheye effect (not always a plus for me). Beautiful scene and you really captured it well - good focus, composition, & processing.

Again, GREAT reflection and composition! But also here, I think the upper portions are too washed out - IMHO they need a little boost (color, contrast, burn, etc.). Simply amazing scenery and very nice capture.
