7 - Good character, nice color combinations. Criticism; difficult, perhaps a slightly different 'hand pose', a little sharper on the dog's eye/cheek, may have made this even better in my opinion. Not sure on the frame, 'works' but wonder if a variation (especially of color) may have enhanced certain features/colors in the shot.
