The tilting, 'in my opinion', gave the illusion of a slightly different pose (hard to explain) - just seemed more .. wistful, not so 'posed'/'direct'. All minor anyway and as I said, 'nitpicking' (aka - aiming for perfection). Ah - sorry. It's a beautiful shot regardless. edit:condensed/reworded

Well, I'm not sure how rotating it diminished the wistful look, but I suppose it's possible. I didn't do any editing to the face this time. Maybe the slight askewdedness caused her to look more wistful.

Yes, "in my opinion", it does. Although still the issue I mentioned that perhaps you've diminished the 'wistful' look by a whisker - but your call.. obviously. edit: grammar/removed quote & TN

Hey macronothing-

I did an arbitrary turn 1 degree counterclockwise. I also cloned out the snowflake on her sweater. Thanks for the tips. Does it seem improved?

Very nice. Good clarity in the eyes. Two small 'nitpicks'; tree trunk looks like it is crooked by a whisker, but could be natural or a visual thing based on her clothing etc at the bottom (however 'straightening' may diminish the tilted pose, so who knows) and the white something bottom right in the dark pullover. edit:removed TN

I love the image for the artistic value and the quality of the photography. I'm just not into the nude photos of children thing.

I like the way this girl's expressions every time. That has nothing to do with you, but that, in combination with your vision/composition/lighting and focus. You just have an amazing creation every time.

Another stunner. I feel like I keep repeating myself in the praise for your portrait ability. The eyes definitely have it!! Wonderful and expressive. You need to pursue this and prove to people that cheesy portraits really are NOT what's hip!
