GOD! What a catch - literally. This is great with the red of his mouth and the green tennis ball! Excellent choice of placement - with the neg. space to his right. People call them pit bulls, when in actuality, the breed name is American Staffordshire Terrier. ;~D

I have a similar shot of my dog Taylor catching a tenis ball like this on my profile page. Dogs are just great for action shots, although they usualy come out looking pretty vicious! good capture.

Very nice. I like the background being blown out a bit but not so much the hair. Shadow/Highlights would work great using just the highlights adjustment on the hair. Looking at it briefly in photoshop there appears to be some detail you can pull out of those highlights and what you can't can always be fixed with the clone/heal tool and maybe blend in that so you keep the lighting consistent. Anyway, just a tweak suggestion nothing major. Overall, I like the style you acheived.

Seems like this is the appropriate image to comment upon, for a 41st birthday; if you looked like this at 40, unless you've really gone downhill fast I imagine you're a fine figure of a 41-year-old woman :-) Happy birthday to you!
