I gave this a 7 - I really like the neutral tones and the balance this has. In looking at it again, I also think it's kinda neat how the center flame is the strongest, particularly in the reflection.

In voting I scored this a 5. While the colors are very soothing, it just didn't hold my interest. The bright flare of the wick in the middle candle also was a little distracting. I think it could have been a better image without the reflection as well.

For the picture...I love this, but then I tend to go for abstracts with lots of color. The textures are fantastic. The one thing I don't like is the fiery yellow burst at the bottom right. If you cloned this out it would make a wonderful print.
As for the challenge, I didn't vote this one but it wouldn't have gotten a high score as it doesn't portray a "something" with motion blur.
