Apple Coilby VitaminBComment by VitaminB: Not really a lot of control necessarily. Set up the camera on a tripod, focused the camera, and set to manual focus. Turned out all lights, remote triggered my camera and left the shutter between 5 and 10 seconds, and tried a bunch of shots. I took a small LED penlight (A photon microlight), and starting behind the apple, spiralled my way up. LOTS of FUN :) |

Apple Coilby VitaminBComment by noraneko: Very cool. You must either have great control or a lot of outtakes on this one. Really like how the spiral draws the eye right down to the apple. |

Dante's Infernoby VitaminBComment by wheeledd: This certainly has a shallow DOF but I don't see it as highlighting a subject. The first half of lines 100-102 are in focus, the middle of 103-105, and the ends of 106-109. What are you trying to say? |

Dante's Infernoby VitaminBComment by RamblinR: Someone else in the challenge has done this same item very well. Unfortunately this doesn't have the same impact. |
