I saw a very similar thumbtack portrait of Obama when I Googled "thumb tacks" yesterday. Nice achievement, though not so evident in the photographic elements.

What a handsome fellow! Great portrait -- and kudos on your high place in the challenge! Technically -- and aesthetically, I guess -- it would have been nice to see some of that surprising iridescent mother-of-pearl color that iguanas usually show, but perhaps that requires daylight. Terrific detail and great composition of this "headshot", which your subject should feature in his modeling portfolio. Cheers!
