The textures are, indeed, lovely and pronounced, although I feel that there needs to be something added to make the gas tap stand out from the wall, particularly at the bottom.The colours are stunning.

A real trompe l'oeil feel to this. I keep expecting the upright elements to pop in front of the horizontal elements. Quite a beguiling image.

For a 'Christmassy' image, the foreground works well, IMO, as it has a sort of Dickensian, workhouse kind of feel. The lighting of the buildings is wonderful and the sky is great. I'd love to be able to take a shot as good as this.

Woman, this rocks! I didn't vote in this challenge and to tell you the truth, forgot to look through the results. AWESOME score and great finish! But that's neither here nor there. I absolutely love the picture. I love the desat and the yellow. And I really love that it's a "shot from the hip" kinda thing. My kinda picture, and you did it really, really, really well!
