I realy like this image. It brings back many memories of childhood or the aching feeling you get when you hear kids screaming in the park when they have dropped their ice-cream. The image works really well in black and white, and as previously mentioned adds a nostalgic feel to it. The whites look slightly blown out, but nothing that affects the image in any major way. The cone and the textures of the background all look pefectly sharp to me, and the contrast seems fine. Good luck with the challenge :)

hehe Cute theme. Good lighting, maybe a tad flat. I can't decide if I like the solid black background or not. Looks like something is missing, but can't think of what I would want there that wouldn't be distracting.
