The name 'Spiro' is an inside joke in my family. In my mind I saw Spiro pushing my little sister and her dropping her ice cream cone. Then she gets up and runs inside screaming for mommy. Funny too, I see this clearly, but it is at the house my grandparents lived in when we were children and lived on Long Island.

Oh I love powdered donuts...I like the simplcity here, I wonder if the lox were a little less "dayglow"/saturated if maybe a little more texture would be seen?...I keep wanting to see a bit more detail in the fish that I know os there but may be blown out due to the coloring... still a really interesting contrast of subject matter.

The top left cornerseemes like the doughnuts merge with the background. Maybe another background would improve it. Nice texture on the lox and doughnuts. Good color with placing them on the black plate, nice contrasts.
