I don't like the brick in the background, the grout is way to bright. That comes from sunlight behind them, had it been other than a basic editing, I'd have darkend that up a good bit. As for his face, well.... you don't often see it in life either, that's who he is.

I figured this for a lowish 5, though not in the 4s. Oh well. On with the year.

This portriate would have been wonderful with a black/plain background. The harsh brick takes away from the emotion expressed. Very nice pose and expressions. 8

I like the concept of this, but the processing is a bit overboard, in my opinion. Also, I think a closer, lower perspective, would help to show the little girl better.
