Water by a Threadby jtf6agentComment by snellslaw: I think the photo would have been better with a much tighter crop, basically just the truck, the line of fire fighters and the smoky hill side. Of course this really wouldn’t have met the challenge. I like the selective saturation. |

Water by a Threadby jtf6agentComment by LadyK: well, im not really like the connection to the challenge in this photo. i might have tried to get ahead of the line of firefighters and gotten a photo of them. i dont think the helicopter is enough of the main part of the photo to get a real connection |

Water by a Threadby jtf6agentComment by Dr.Confuser: Stupid title ... but a great, dramatic, photo. Love the drama, enhanced by the composition and the diagonal comp. Real life DOES hang from a thread. |

Wildlife threatened "SOOC"by jtf6agentComment by jtf6agent: I knew most of the up tight A-Holes would butcher the photo because their pea brains refuse to let them think any harder than pressing the 2 key to save their own crap photos. This is pretty easy to figure out. Firefighters live a "Wildlife" This shot was taken on the fly and no processing. I'd like to see half the "photographers" (more like GWC's) that placed before me try something like this. I'm not sure why I continue to punish myself by entering knowing full well the BS that goes on with DPC voting. My respect goes out to a few that placed in this challenge and the rest of you box shooters... well I think you know where I stand on that matter. |
