Very creative photo! You would probably help yourself by starting to watch the issues in the background (usually a weak area for me as well.) Here the wall seems slanted just a bit to the right. Easily correctable by watching to make lines parallel with View Finder frame. It occurs to me that this photo might be taken too close to subject with line slant created by parallax effect. Try standing farther back and framing in a zoom portrait. :)

Nice lighting. Interesting elements to this composition. The man is very handsome like a young Robert Redford and the old, worn out hat on a young, beautiful man is an oxymoron in a way. I am not sure about the guitar amp, but I still like the photo.
