make believeby mandyturnerComment by saracat: Very cute! Love the concept. I like the sepia (duotone?) treatment of this. Only suggestion I might have would be to have her maybe blow some glitter off of her hand & get a shot of that - as she is she actually looks a little bored (or maybe nervous) and the glitter might help her really 'get into' the shot. |

make believeby mandyturnerComment by Beagleboy: Cute girl. I know she is blowing a kiss, but it looks like she is in the process of throwing up and holding it in. |

make believeby mandyturnerComment by skief: Cute photo, I expected to see more of this kind of photo. Couple little problems, first the dress has too many blown out highlights this causes me to stop looking at her cute face, but am drawn to the brightness. Second is the large blades of grass to the bottom left of the picture, would be better to have gotten rid of them before taking the photo, then they wouldn't be competing with the subject of the photo. 7 |

Did You Hear That?!!by mandyturnerComment by taterbug: Ohhh, eerie, skeerie, ...in a cool way! You may get hammered by the photography 'purists' tastes that usually seems to dominate, but personally, I like this shot a lot. Focus is good, the 'eerie' effect works well IMO for this image and this challenge. I find it a stimulating, creative composition, and the looks on their faces are great. There is a little bit of harsh light/glare on the center child, especially the forehead, but it seems only to be a minor distraction. Heck, the longer I look, the more I like it. NIce job. |

Breathe in.......by mandyturnerComment by jpochard: I think this is an awesome idea to play around with. Might be a nice subtle way to do a nude shot as well. Like the other commenters, I agree the background is the biggest distraction here, with the sags and wrinkles. The lighting isn't bad, but I would try different poses as well. I might have to try this sometime. |
