I expected it to do alot better myself until I uploaded it. In the original the eyes were still blue but not overdone looking. Uploading problems I guess? Maybe when I resized it? This is a picture I took of my son and me. He always gives me a great pose! I switched the photo to black and white, then infared, then blue tint... and POOF--FREAK SHOW DROP-OUT! Oh well, it was fun and my son thinks that it is "the coolest picture ever!"

I expected this to do a lot better. You have an awesome shot here that sends the chills down your spine. Congradulations anyways on the awesome picture.

Ohhh, eerie, skeerie, ...in a cool way! You may get hammered by the photography 'purists' tastes that usually seems to dominate, but personally, I like this shot a lot. Focus is good, the 'eerie' effect works well IMO for this image and this challenge. I find it a stimulating, creative composition, and the looks on their faces are great. There is a little bit of harsh light/glare on the center child, especially the forehead, but it seems only to be a minor distraction. Heck, the longer I look, the more I like it. NIce job.

Great expressions! I'm not crazy about the UV-look lighting, but it does fit this Stephen King sort of scene very well. 7

very interesting. Curious as to what kind of light you used for the effect. Is that a black light?

I though about doing UV. Glad someone did. Like the close crop and the use of negative space.

bizarre. i like it but would have preferred a much closer crop on the left. it would have even more punch for me if you'd cropped off to the point of taking off a bit of the boys head at the top of the frame. love the colors though.

I feel that the blue light effect distracts from the photo's effect. I like the concept and composition, and your boy model has a striking face. That blue cast, though, it doesn't lend that eerie feel that the title implies.
