Three Ring RR Bridgeby The EskimoComment by hahn23: I think this is pretty good and I gave it an "8". Just an observation, or two, about the horizon and perspective. I observe you have squared the horizon of the tracks under the train. That is a logical choice, but maybe not the best one. The train is above your position and you are on the left bank of the river. A natural perspective may have had a vanishing lines effect, with the train not on horizon square tracks, as viewed from your position. My point is made by the water level, as measured at each bridge pylon. Water seeks its own level and would be horizon square to your position. So, the image needs a slight CW rotation. You can see the train reflection in the water is really sloped up. The actual train and the reflection should be equally sloped... and converging towards each other at a distant point to the far right. |

Just Duckyby The EskimoComment by JopsyDaisy: Even if the idea isn't very original it's a lovely photo! The colours looks just right and the focus looks allright. It's a shame that the feather in the middle is broken though. |

Hilton Hawaiian Village Rainbow Towerby The EskimoComment by The Eskimo: is that reflection or paint? the colors that is?? awesome perspective!
To answer your question, those are colored ceramic tiles. They have lost some of their luster over the years from the sunlight but still looks pretty good. |
