Sorry, don't see the connection to the challenge. ??? Concerning the image by itself it's a little OOF. Looks like a little camera blur. Compositionally, the crop is too tight with not enough room for the head in the photo. Need to give the subject some breathing room. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

While I believe an animal picture without humans can be candid, I think the animal needs to be captured doing something unexpected or particularly expressive and engaging---in other words, candid. This goose is kind of just standing there. I don't think this really meets the challenge.

As a nature photo, it has some merit although I would like to see sharper detail overall, and more of the detail in the dark area of its face. I think framing (or cropping) the goose so that its head is a bit more off center would be helpful.
