The smoothing of the face seems a bit extreme it looks a little unnatural, the colors work really well here though and I like the background of the wicker

She's lovely. I think she's way too close to the wicker/woven background. Seems a touch overdone with either softness or maybe neat image. I love her smile and eyes. Great hair. I'd prefer she not be so dead centered. Maybe more neg. space to one side.

I like how this is a portrait of a deer. You don't see many straight on photos, so it is a nice change of pace. I am not sure of the exposure, or if you were tyring to go high-key, but it does not work for me. I also think the background is a big distraction. I would also be tempted to cut a little more off the top so it isn't a centered. Still, it isn't your typical wildlife shot, which I like.
