Great photo. Love how the wated affects the saturation of the colours differently. Deep blue sky in the water, but the actual sky is lighter. Muted trees in the water, but rich and vivid colour in the actual trees.
And the perfect smoothness of the water adds to the sharp detail of the dead wood.
Very nice.

Haha, this shot is awesome! Love his "human" like expression, like he is severely dissapointed that there wasn´t any honey or whatever in that feeder :) Not a thing I would change about it except I may have liked a color version better, I dunno but this toning works also.

I think what throws this off for me (challenge-wise) is that the subject seems to be the bear rather than the shadow. Also, the composition seems a little static with the bear and shadow in the center of the pic. I think that if they were in the lower third it might work a little better - give it a little more sense of being out in the wilderness.
I also think that this would work better for the challenge if the shadow had a little more definition to it...if it looked more like the outline of the bear.
It's not a bad shot of a bear, but for a 'shadow' challenge, it's lacking a little 'oomph' in the shadow area.

I love this picture. I love the still and clear reflection of the pool in the background and the motion captured in the foreground. Beautiful photograph--I've tried to do photos like this, but not with such success.

Whilst the shadow is barely even secondary here, it IS there and that bear makes the photo special.

Nice shot, the shadow is enough to meet the challenge, but the bear's expression is what really makes it.
