Bonsai !!!by ShutterPugComment by skylen: Creative! This had me looking for a "This photo has been validated" message. :) I really like what you've done. The composition is good, you appear to have deliberately chosen what you wanted to appear in the image and how to communicate that to the viewer. Really a work of art.
The only thing I would change is that the tree foliage looks too bright (and appears to be illuminated from THIS side of the tree) since the moon is on the other side of the tree. This side should be quite a bit darker to make it look more consistent.
My final words, though: this is a work of art. Nice work. |

Piss on 'emby ShutterPugComment by KevinRiggs: Humorous shot to me.
I wonder how this would be perceived if it was a human being though. The action and the equipment shown would be exactly the same but somehow I think the latter would cause a HUGE uproar on DPC while this image will probably be received with as much joking as I take it for.
Really don't know whether that means anything or not but I just immediately thought about it and at 4:00 am I don't have many filters on. Thanks for sharing, tho. |

Bonsai !!!by ShutterPugComment by Dr.Confuser: This may be a legitimate photo or a real bonsai, a real moon, and a real pool ... but it appears to be a bonsai in front of another photo or possibly in front of your monitor dispalying the background. There's somethign about it, it just doesn't feel real somehow. |

Whispering Woodsby ShutterPugComment by Brad: I think I just about like anything in black & white better, and this is no exception. You did a good job on the post-processing here, as there is good tones without going to extreme darkness, nor having areas over-exposed. Well-seen too. This is an interesting place, and so not boring.
The two main trees look like huge bird legs, especially with the roots exposed like that. Think the horizon is off a little. j/k
:P
Thought this was gonna' be a where's WaldoPug picture - amazingly none to be found! |
