Whispering Woods
lean in close
hear what I have to say
today is yet another wonder

okay, so the poetry isnt that good. But I really like this image and hope you do too.
Shot in color, but with the intention of converting to B/W, with all it\'s grayscale possibilities. This turned out pretty much as I had envisioned it when I came across the scene.

I think I just about like anything in black & white better, and this is no exception. You did a good job on the post-processing here, as there is good tones without going to extreme darkness, nor having areas over-exposed. Well-seen too. This is an interesting place, and so not boring.
The two main trees look like huge bird legs, especially with the roots exposed like that. Think the horizon is off a little. j/k
:P

Thought this was gonna' be a where's WaldoPug picture - amazingly none to be found!

Nice detail. I like the B&W especially on the roots.

I like the tones here. The richness of light and dark is very inviting.

B&W was a great choice. I would've used a tighter crop that excluded the trees to the right of the rocks. Great title.
