Eagle River, Alaskaby ShutterPugComment by jblaylockrayner: Great shot - Love the gloom to it a a lot - Wheres your inflatable red canoe that you should carry with you at all times!
Not too sure if you have noticed but there are some red hot spots in the snow on the right hand mountain? Message edited by author 2007-06-08 13:44:08. |

Also, to be brutally honest, I think you should get the fire gear you were talking about and head for the action. Smoking trees just doesn't keep me looking. But even from here, some closeups of the firefighters could be interesting and present some subject matter with emotion/impact. |

800_4483SusitnaBurmaFire.jpgby ShutterPugComment by jjusa: The sence of comotion is really nice here. I like how you capture the burning forest, firetruck, and fire fighters all in one frame. Focus seems a bit soft though and i think the little bit of truck in the bottom left is distracting. |

Woofer and Tweeterby ShutterPugComment by lovethelight: oh my gosh this must have been a nightmare to pose. i liek the contrast between the green and the tan colors. I think it lacks a key sharpness needed to bring out the hair of the dog and it is a little blown out but this is a cute composition. |

Woofer and Tweeterby ShutterPugComment by lissylou: I love the idea but I think the bird is lost in this set up. Maybe getting the bird to sit on something closer to the dogs head so you could zoom in a little more or just putting the dogs paws together and moving the bird to the front. I like how the wrinkles in the background match the wrinkles in the dog. |
