Comes off a bit dark to me. It's not having too much impact, though pics of trains are usually a subject I like. Perhaps the strong browny-yellows in the scene are just overpowering me. Not totally sure.

7 - A reasonable use of HDR, and an engaging photo, in my opinion

this is a wonderful image the bear is showing a nice behavior and all the distractions of the scene have been minimized.

I thought it was beautiful and gave it an 8. Sorry for the low score you got. FS's have gotten so ridiculously low scoring it's discouraging.

Comment by JaimeVinas:
This one had potential with a tighter crop around the bear. If it were possible I would also do some highlights/shadows on the bear to see more detail on him/her. The bear seems a bit dark in contrast to the rest of the photo which makes the eye want to look for something else in the photo.

Comment by rlewis:
I prefer this one to the Free Study submission, more of the bear, no distracting sky. I am sure the plant blur in front dissuaded you, but this is a nice image.

Sorry to say it Linda but I prefer this one, it has a bit more detail in the bear.

This one shows the setting well, but your outtake shows the bear better. Both are quite amazing captures!
