I can't seem to make out any pollen flying around there, however the photo is rather small and makes it a little difficult to recognise anything. Try to get the longest length of the photo to be at 640 px, it will enhance it a lot more.

It's everywhere, isn't it? The center stem is a little blown but I like the color palette. You get an extra point for creativity. The great thing about the size is that you probably will not have a bunch of out of focus comments. hehe

this image is not very appealing to me. It looks out of focus, the exposure is off and something about teh color does not grab me. Not sure if this was a result of resizing for the challenge or not, but its very hard to determin the main subject in this image.

How is this intimate? It's dead, deceased, an ex-bluefly, no longer with us! That bird bath is pretty gross-looking; no wonder the fly died.

this is a cool shot, I think it needs a little something to punch it up, maybe a crop of the top portion, just above the uppermost break in the clouds..that way it looks like more of a "struggle" as StevePax mentioned, but it doesn't give it a mundane centred subject.

Also wonder if there was a decent meeting at the horizon to be added so we could see the land to give this struggle some context.

Very intense looking. I like it!! But then again I am a nature and outdoors freak and love seeing any and all photos like these. Weather shots are so fleeting and may never see anything like it again. Nice work!
