Reaching Outby aboutimageComment by rasdub: I like the simplicity of this image, and the choice of B&W is appropriate. My only crituque would be that I feel like there is possibly too much sky and you could crop it a little more. That being said, its all a matter of personal preference. Nice work.

Keep Outby aboutimageComment by Germaine: I wonder if this picture might have been better in color. You have a lot of interesting elements in the lower half of the frame, but visually, they are hard to pick out. Maybe the lower half should be brighter and with more contrast. Just my opinion.
It's a good series of photographs and very evocative of that part of California.
Thanks for sharing.

Waterloggedby aboutimageComment by Bear_Music: Very nicely processed. Go back and level your horizon, maybe? Also try adding a slight gradient to the top to contain the image? |

Road to Nowhereby aboutimageComment by skief: From the thumbnails, this one just pulled me in. Great contrasts, good composition. Only problem I have, and it may be just the size, is that very little seems very sharp (except the clouds in the background). The stripe in the road and the shrubs on the hill don't seem to have that pop of real sharpness. This may simply be because of the compression of the photo. Anyway, if it is sharp in full size, this is a winner. |

Implements of the Rain Maker by aboutimageComment by kevrobertson: Great image
Fantastic composition
the B&W works here but i would like to see it in colour as well, but then you are making the viewer think of all the vibrant colours in the headdress.
Good luck
one of very few 10s from me
