I like the colors, but I think they could be stronger (increase saturation). The butterfly's wings being out of focus is distracting, but I understand (BELIEVE ME!) how difficult it is to catch these little buggers while they're flitting about. It's a nicely faded background, but the flowers are slightly out of focus too - making it difficult to improve on them much. Overall, a very nice shot IMHO - but I think that with some increased color saturation (especially green) and some unsharp mask adjustments it could be improved. :-)

This version is so much better than you submission. It is very beautiful. There is only two things I see that bother me. I would like to see this centered better. I know the statue is centered but the columns in the front. See how they are off a little? Also maybe a higher POV (Point Of View). This is a wonderful photo and if you would have submitted this one instead of the small one you would have done a lot better. Welcome to DPC and enjoy the addiction.

It's a pretty subject, but the very busy and ornate background is competing for my attention.
If at all possible, it would have been better to position yourself so the background is more boring and/or darker; at least without the flags there, as well.

I think it would have been better shot from a different angle, possibly from the top shooting down,if that were possible. I would also have cropped it wider showing more of the fountain and some of the surrounding area. Just my opinion. Other than that it's a nice photo. Keep shooting.
