Cats eye is well placed at intersection of thirds. The color of the eye looks interesting, Would like to see more of the eye. Not quite sharp on hairs of cat.

Good cat picture. I think this is a case where you should have broken the Rule of Thirds and just zoomed in on the cat. IMHO the lower portion of the picture adds nothing, and you could have cropped it out.

As for the image, it's badly overexposed! Other than that, rule of thirds withstanding, you should have tilted the camera slightly upwards to include Rhona's ear. What's in the lower portion of the frame isn't exactly an picturesque element and would most surely not be missed had it not been included in the frame. In fact, I think you should crop out a part of the lower portion of the frame as it is.
Also, I think this picture would be much more effective in black and white than color.

Not sure if it was light that day or from the post processing but I like how the ephemeral quality the dead branches have, which along with the powerful and shallow DOF really make the green leafy branches stand out. Composition could be a little more striking though.
