Off Lake Huronby LadeeMComment by SJCarter: Beautiful sky, clouds, and scenery! The angle is interesting (personally I would probably prefer a more natural horizon line), but still a great shot! |

Old Man at the Millby LadeeMComment by OdysseyF22: This is one of those shots that just speaks volumes about another time. It feels like it you were to step back from the picture, you might mind yourself standing in 1880. Was he sitting there on his own, or did you ask him to? |

Wild Daisy Patchby LadeeMComment by OdysseyF22: The weed in the middle is a little distracting, but otherwise, I love the play between the shadowed flowers and the sunlit ones. |

Off Lake Huronby LadeeMComment by OdysseyF22: This one is beautiful. The curve of the land kinda' matches the curve of the coulds, and the wave patterns on the bay help give it a really peaceful look. |

Horizonsby LadeeMComment by nova: Interesting shot... if I just ran across this and didn't know they were vacation pics, I would wonder what she is thinking about, hmm... I like the "4 corners" effect with Brenna, the underwater ramp at lower right, and the small clouds in the top corners, with the vast, uniform water of the Great Lake dominating the center. If you look real close, the cloud at top left is subtly reflected in the water and leads your eye down to your daughter. Really interesting shot, IMO. |

Old Man at the Millby LadeeMComment by Brad: I really like this shot.
So much is being told here, from the age depicted on the wooden siding, to his pose in the window opening.
The more I looked at it, the more I wanted to play with it.
Basic levels, options, 0.5 on each, shadow/highlights adjustment.
and from color edit, converted to greyscale, custom quadtone, minor lighten
in the middle and darken around outside to place focus more on him. Message edited by author 2005-10-04 22:16:05. |
