Now this really has something to do with the challenge! =) Fun shot as well as great technically. The lines just seem to be leading the eye to the girl and the green tones are great as well. The fact that you used Shadows/Highlights in photoshop (I'm guessing) made a slight halo around the "dumb" and I think that's a great detail. The only thing that's bothering me is the fact that the "dumb"'s shadow is falling on the "lazy"'s head, this could have been avoided by positioning "dumb" at the end of "lazy"'s feet. Still a great shot.

Good DOF and focus. Exposure levels seem to be right on. Not sure about the selective desat - I would like to see what the original had to offer. The angle the flower was shot at is a bit awkward to the eye.
Perhaps if you had been at a lower level with the flower?

eek. having put chunks of chocolate in cold milk before, I know how poorly they combine, so this makes for a rather unappetizing image--
I like the idea, but what if it were hot milk and you could see the chocolate melting? also, less harsh lighting would flatter your subjects more.
