To me, the skin tones look kind of gray and overly washed out...or something. I like her smile and the pose.

colour seems a little muddy, perhaps thats from trying to isolate the blue? think the blonde hair could have been brightened to give a nice accent to the eyes.

i'm not sure the high contrast feel here is the best way to go for this type of image. i like tht it brings the eyes out, but it crams the skintones and hair into the same visual space.

although i can tell it hasnt been desaturated the color is not too present, also bouncing the flash off of a wall or putting some diffusion on it might help..

Not sure if the desaturation helps for the color challenge. Arms are sort've lost in the large mass of blackness. Eyes too unnatural for my taste
