Really cool shot, but the title isn't too good (too long). What is really interesting about this shot is the guy in the middle who is perfectly still with the others around him that are moving. Like to know the apprature and shutter speed you used because the lighting is perfect. 8.

Composition - Not lacking in color at all whatsoever. This is really bright and really unique. Very interesting subject. I wish you didn't cut the top of it off. I have no idea what it is. I'm guessing some kind of stapler. I don't know what else this company makes. I'm not really sold on the motion blur, but it does give this picture a little bit of life. I'd say it probably helps slightly more than it distracts. You probably should have some paper if you're showing a stapler.

Technical - Well portrayed colors. Exposure is very good. Could be a little clearer, but overall pretty well taken. I wish it wasn't framed in quite so tight.

Overall - I think its a pretty well taken photo. Subject is a little odd and I think a lot of us didn't know what it was. I wasn't sure at first. In all honesty it isn't the most compelling subject either. Well good luck in future challenges - Inspzil

This is a nice image addressin the pi challenge. I concur with all of the compliments below!

I like the scientific tone this photo, created with the calculations and instruments, as well as the excellent lighting. I mentioned below that I thought the yellow tape measure took away from this slightly, perhaps because the tape measure is not a very accurate instrument relative to pi or the other objects selected for your photo.

As someone else noted, the arrangement is loose, perhaps a tighter arrangement with a closer point of view would enhance the feeling of precision and intricacy. I hope you realize that these suggestions can come because it is a strong image already. The composition and focus are superb, and the little touches like the tape going around the round object make this an intriguing and engaging image to begin with.

The lighting is also appropriately cool and scientific. I like how the calculations were done in a fine point pen.
