PICT0466-1.JPGby Buckeye_FanComment by Art Roflmao: Lighting / exposure is a little harsh, but nice composition. Good job overall - I like it for alike a senior portrait type shot. |

kitty3.JPGby Buckeye_FanComment by Strikeslip: I like the cat's pose, paused to take a look, very nice. I think the centred composition works, especially they way you've got your leading line going from left upper to right corner, but if I'd taken this shot I would have focused on the cat and panned left & up, placing Sweet Face in the bottom right. That would create a nice walkway and leading line that the cat may have walked along, before pausing to take a look at you. It would also bring the subject closer and afford a better look at Sweet Face. The muted green tones are very nice to look at as well. Good job! |

Man and his Dogsby Buckeye_FanComment by Strikeslip: Another nicely composed shot. This is my second favourite of yours after the stream & sheep shot. Maybe a bit cropped off the foreground, as keegbow suggests. Again, very nice in B&W. You are very good with leading lines. This is posterific! |

sheep&stream.JPGby Buckeye_FanComment by Strikeslip: I really like the composition of this shot. My eye is led up the stream, takes a pleasant break at the sheep, then continues to the ramshackle fence. Then, after enjoying the interest of that fence, if it hits my eye's fancy, I can travel up the old stone wall. Very well done! Oh, and the B&W is very nice. Man and his Dogsby Buckeye_FanComment by SJCarter: Great composition! There seems to be a lot of noise in the shot though (not sure whether it's fog, mist, or just noise). I think that may be why the background looks like a painting or Hollywood set (it really does!). IMHO however, this works against the B/W choice - you might get better results in color? Just my 2 cents... This is still a very nice capture. (And I agree with the other commenters that you could shave a touch off the bottom.) :-) |

The Preston Stationby Buckeye_FanComment by SJCarter: Very nice shot. I like the B/W and your use of perspective is good. You might consider "straightening" the horizon on this shot - but you may have offset it on purpose for artistic purposes - it's difficult to tell. Nice job. |

coastofireland.JPGby Buckeye_FanComment by SJCarter: Neat shot. You might consider pumping up the color sat a hair and cropping it a little closer at the bottom (to remove the blacked out bottom left corner). Nice clouds and shadows. |
