like the colors. I see this doing well...funny thing is, he seems really quite indifferent to her advances...not exactly romantic. But, I think your image is the perfect commentary on how men and women view romance differently, even more so with younger men.

8 - Good capture and composition. Bold colors. Criticism; not much, the colors, while not my 'personal preference' in general with these color combinations, work very well here, especially to complement the coloring in the main subjects, especially the girl's hair. The whole scene/'set', like the colors, has a certain 'hard' feel, but again, I think this works very well in this shot and makes it. Hard to tell if this needs a nudge rotation up on the left or not, or whether the ground/surface is just a bit 'uneven', but minor. A more finely tuned crop, especially on the bottom/bottom left corner, may have refined this just a bit more. The overexposed areas and the sun/lighting, again, adds to this overall and makes for a fairly unique shot, in my opinion. Perhaps a little sharper, not sure.

The focus is too soft for me, and I would like the background to be a solid color. I do like the lighting and composition.

This would have scored better if the lit portion of the face was in focus. It looks like the shadow is probably in focus but the viewer can't tell...because it's in the shadow. There's a small portion of the forehead in focus. Good idea but those details lowered the score for me. sorry!! 4
