For me, the white diagonal in the background is distracting, but the lighting on the critter is good as well as the off-centered composition.

a nice shot, a kangaroo mouse? the lighting is good, the simplistic shot is very good, it is just not as sharp as it could be, but overall very nicely done, i can see this as a print

However, this isn't an English Cross Spider like this one being eaten by a Preying Mantis:

You can tell because yours does not have the unmistakable "cross" structure.
