Very nice!! The whole picture really 'grabs' the eye. The shadows are just awesome and I love how it blends in with the background. The watch with the hand clutching it tells me that 'time is precious' in other words - clench onto life. Clarity and the closeness of your photo is very pleasing and clear to see. Your photograph is just brilliant. GL in this weeks challenge.

So, did the goalie get it or not? He looks a bit late. I'd have cropped some of the foreground, just below where the darker grass starts.

I really like your idea of taking the picture from behind the net, however I feel that the bottom half of the picture is not needed. I feel that if you cropped the picture from the shadow line just below the net, it would bring the viewers eyes to the football game. In this case because the shadow below the net is a darker contrast than the subject, the eye is drawn to the shadow.

Full marks for a good texture shot. Bumping the contrast a little may have made this one a bit more punchy.

I like this shot a lot. I'm not sure why you choose to put SO much space in the front, I think this actually could have been very effective as a wide short shot. Great action here, it's almost like a whole story book, lots of stuff happening, I almost wonder if there isn't too much. Very effective in black and white! For some reason I just really like the unique look to this shot. -8-

I love your idea here. What luck to have run across this scenery! Beautiful composition. Great detail in the rocky surrounding.

I like the idea of this. I would like to see this cropped higher up, eliminating two thirds of the grass - abouth where the darker grass starts. I like the photo but my eye is drawn more to the contrasts in the grass color than the net. perhaps I am the only one who feels that way though:)

Great Photgraph, kind of hard to see the differenciation between the ash and the plant.

I think this deserved to end up way higher (it was my only 10 for this challenge, together with this one).
