This is one of two shots that I keep coming back to without voting. This shot is just a smudge away from perfect for this challenge. At first I thought that it didn't meet the challenge though. I keep trying to figure out how to make this perfect and don't know what makes me think it's not. The focus is awesome. The DOF is the bomb. The colors give it the feel. The title is it. But my gut tells me it could be just a touch ________. (fill in the blank because I can't figure it out. ) AWESOME SHOT!!! One of my top two!

A good shot but I would have cropped the top quarter of the sky off it is too bland and detracts from the drama of the rest of the shot.

Stunning contrast. Good composition and use of perspective. It leads you into the blackness. The only thing, I would have rotated it only tiny bit clockwise - it\'s kind of leaning towards the left. The Border is OK in this case.

I like this, appropiately, gloomy shot. The (shaded) foreground reveals little detail beyond one of locale and setting, which effectively silhouettes the skyline (tomb rooves and crosses) against a frayed cloudscape. An unusual, thought-provoking interpretation, and an interesting one with an aptly coined title.

Now if there were crocs in the water............ :) Crossing walkways without siderails can be very imposing for a lot of people so I understand where you are going with this and the idea that it goes on forever, if you had managed to crop it a little tighter on the top or been able to disguise the end of the trail better.
