Interesting. Your processing created a 3 dimensional look. Almost like the paint is floating above the asphalt. Under appreciated in my opinion.

It is images like this that make me not like this site.

You are one of my favorite photographers on this site, and as I went through this challenge voting I flipped through this image and saw it as empty but technically sound and gave it a 6.

Now that I know it is yours, and I know a small part of the why, and the who of the image I can see that it is still empty, but that emptiness is vast and focused. The absence comes not form a lack of something to say, but but from a missing place beyond words or concrete iconography. It is an image worthy of serious attention. I wonder how many other images from photographers who's work I do not already know I miss each time I vote as I flip....flip....flip.In the future I will try to slow down and give images their due time.

I'm sorry for your loss, you seem to be going to too many funerals lately.
