The balloon almost detracts in this one. Usually I love abandoned balloons, but the rest is very interesting with nice lines. I'm almost a tad irritated that the balloon is breaking my site line.

There is a tree on my land that is repeatedly struck by lightening - better that than my roof, I guess. Anyway, it appears as those these two have suffered multiple weather events in their lives and are about to endure another. The subtlety of the leading line defines this image. Five from me. Without the pink balloon this image is impressive, with its wonderfully convoluted composition and bold emphasis on the long reflection. With it, there's that touch of surprise and whimsy that, for me, lifts it into a less somber realm of delight. It could be considered litter, but we can set that aside to revel in the pleasure it brings. We can even ponder the concept of "litter". Fine photograph. Big smile.

My initial experience with the top of the scene with the pink balloon left me feeling a bit blah, then my eyes got drawn to the monster rising from underneath and kapow - the image was made.
