Very nice composition. I think the light is a bit too bright on the left hand side of the photo.

Is this for the jewelery challenge or the tack challenge? But seriously, I guess by your title that its a diamond, but it is a little confusing what you are trying to portay. Technique, lighting and composition are good.

A lot of nice colour, great job shooting through glass. Looks well composed to me. I think it could be improved in Photoshop by toning down the highlights, darkening the black, and maybe pumping up the colour saturation a bit to show off the rocking colours. I have a problem with white blowout in my camera and have to be careful about lighting. There's a good tutorial on this site about Highlights & Shadows in the Learning section, it's helped me out a lot. Of course, you'll need Photoshop. :-(

I can't find anything I'd do differently in this one, except remove that white ball from the lower left. I think this shot turned out beautifully. You must've used a lot of light sources.

Wow, what a colourful shot! No mugger will escape with that purse. ;-)

Seems a tad out of focus, or maybe too harshly lit, but after my shot for the jewelry challenge I know it's tough to get a nice shot of shiny objects, at least for my camera. Maybe it would help to diffuse the light, use an aperture not so wide, and lengthen the exposure to compensate for the different aperture to sharpen it up.

I love the colours and the focus looks good too. I have a jellyfish shot in my portfolio from Ripley's Aquarium in Mytrle Beach. If I were you I'd try cropping that in a bit to try to get rid of light in the background, I think it would be OK to chop some of those guys off at the bottom, maybe it would give some flow or fill feeling?

Seems like the focal point (diamond) isn't as in focus as the coal (imo).

The light and reflection caught by the pin are very well done but I am distracted by the fabric flower. A real flower would've added more of a quality "feel" to the photo itself.

Cute idea, but the overexposure on the left side is distracting.
